My mom loves to knit. In the past, I’ve managed to make a couple of simple scarves with her help. Now that the weather’s getting colder, curling up on a couch with some wool and knitting needles sounds like a relaxing way to spend an evening.
Maybe this year I can take my knitting skills to the next level. Wool and the Gang has a plethora of knitting kits, for skill levels from Beginner to Advanced. Sustainable and biodegradable yarn, ethically sourced from their international suppliers, are offered as part of the kits, or can be bought alone for  your own projects.
Sure, Wool and the Gang also gives you the option of buying their items ready-made, but where’s the fun in that? Here are 4 knitting projects I’m considering tackling:
1. Julia Sweater
Made with 100% pima cotton, the Julia Sweater would be suitable all year round. Choose from 21 colours of cotton. Knitting Level: Easy.
2. The Lucy Beanie
The Lucy Beanie is so cute. And it’s to be made with their Crazy Sexy Wool, a chunky renewable and biodegradable wool from Peru. Choose from 29 colours. Knitting Level: Easy.
3. I Feel Love Dress
This is one sexy knitting project. The I Feel Love Dress looks versatile enough for cocktail parties to lazy lounging days. Choose from 21 different colours of cotton. Knitting Level: Intermediate.
4. Lil’ Muffler
The Lil’ Muffler will keep your hands warm on days when you can’t be bothered with gloves. Choose from 25 colours of wool. Knitting Level: Easy.
