When people were forced to work from home last yea When people were forced to work from home last year, I was like "welcome to my world." But even I'm not used to spending such an inordinate amount of time at home.
Now on the blog is an ethical Work From Home outfit guide + my office setup + a music playlist I recommend.
Thanks to @encircled_ for gifting me this outfit - the Comfortable Blouse in pink quartz and Dressy Leggings in black. It's now my go-to WFH outfit. #gifted #AD

My annual reading roundup is up. See "All the Book My annual reading roundup is up. See "All the Books I Read in 2020" on the blog. It contains 47 mini book reviews (20 fiction + 20 nonfiction + 7 abandoned books). 😅Pictured are the last two books I read and enjoyed, the reviews of which are in that post.

I chose "Girl, Woman, Other" as my next online book club pick. Join on Goodreads.com and search "Cuppa Tea Book Club." I posted a longer review of the novel in the group forum.

Here's to a new year of reading 🤓🎊🎉📚

When I finished reading @karen.berg's memoir, I fe When I finished reading @karen.berg's memoir, I felt compelled to tell my own story of how I came to study Kabbalah. Many people find it odd that I, a youngish Asian woman, am a Kabbalah student. Wouldn’t it make more sense for me to be into one of the Eastern religions or something? The thing is, I didn’t go looking for it; Kabbalah found me.

I don't usually like to write about my life, but I get callings sometimes to do certain things out of my comfort zone, and I just go with it. Visit the link in my bio to read a 3.5k-word memoir-ish post on my strange and magical decade-long spiritual journey.

When I saw this pink 3-piece loungewear set, I cou When I saw this pink 3-piece loungewear set, I couldn't not get it. It's got this geriatric vibe I'm into.

I came across @kitristudio when I was putting together a list of direct-to-consumer brands. D2C have more control over production, working conditions, and communication with garment makers and customers. Brands such as Kitri allow customers to preorder, cutting down on waste, although that does require us to be patient. If you're tired of overpriced designer brands and don't care about logos, flashy marketing, celebrity endorsements, etc., check out my list of D2C luxury brands, link in bio.
