Canadian-Made Face Masks (Ethical, Sustainable, Reusable)

I wasn’t sure if I should do this post, but it looks like the demand for reusable face masks isn’t going away anytime soon. Even if we beat COVID-19, mask-wearing might still become the norm like in some Asian countries. So if we’re going to wear non-medical grade masks, they might as well be cute and sustainable. The reusable masks I chose are handmade by indie Canadian designers. The masks are machine washable, although I would recommend handwashing those with nose bridge wires.

The designs I curated are floral heavy, but I included unisex design options and noted when kids sizes are offered.

Let’s continue to save the medical-grade masks for frontline workers. Remember that wearing non-medical masks do not prevent COVID-19 alone. Keep social distancing and washing your hands. Mask wearing is recommended when it’s impossible to keep a 2-metre distance from other people in places such as stores or public transit.
