Ethical Outfit: Secondhand Silk Zac Posen Blouse

Anyone know which collection this yellow silk Zac Posen blouse is from? I think it dates within the past seven years, but I can’t figure it out. I’d be curious to know.

The fun thing about buying secondhand is never knowing what’s going to tickle your fancy. I wasn’t so keen when I saw this blouse on the hanger, but when Louise, owner of The Cat’s Meow, recommended I try it on, I was surprised by how much I liked it on me. The yellow silk is so delicate, and the detailing is incredible. When I walk, the capped sleeves flutter.

I always feel like a boss ass babe when I wear these Maiyet pants. I’ll say it for the millionth time: I love high waisted anything. The problem with white pants is keeping them clean throughout the day, so I only tend to wear these on special occasions. But who knows. Maybe I’ll find more excuses to wear them this fall.

This lavender leather clutch from Baggu is the best. It works double duty as a case for my Fujifilm mirrorless camera and as a regular clutch. I always take it when I travel.

All 3 pieces mentioned so far were made in the USA. The boots were made in Italy.

Most of the pieces probably sold out because they are from past seasons, but I do these outfits posts to provide inspiration. I hope to encourage you to buy secondhand, vintage, and ethical pieces. I want to show how slow fashion pieces do not date and do not have to be boring if you choose carefully.
