Green Beauty: Think Pink for Spring

After a long winter and a freak ice storm in the middle of April, we Torontonians really deserve a nice, warm spring. To set the mood for the season, I’ve been reaching for makeup and nail polishes in various shades of pink. These are all nontoxic products from trusted green beauty brands that I use regularly.

100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Blush in Strawberry – 100% natural powder blush in a soft pink with subtle shimmer.

Mineral Fusion Blush in Smashing – a bright matte pink in a small, travel-friendly compact.

Tata Harper Volumizing Lip & Cheek Tint in Very Charming – a moisturizing, natural cream blush that can also be used on the lips.

Marie Natie Lip Gloss in Tickled – a non-sticky, moisturizing, plant-based lipgloss that smells like cake.

Juice Beauty Phyto-Pigments Luminous Lip Crayon in Pebble – a plant-derived pink rose that glides on smooth.

Deborah Lippmann Gel Lab Pro in Beauty School Dropout – 7 free¬†bubblegum pink “gel” nail polish with a creme finish.

Nails Inc. Nailpure in Bond Street Passage – long lasting, 6-free nail polish in a dusty grey pink.

Also featured: rose quartz earrings from a little shop called Algeria in Nashville, made by a local designer.
